Writer. Left Russia, he was declared wanted and arrested in absentia in the case of dissemination of deliberately false information about the Russian Armed Forces. On October 7th 2022, the Ministry of Justice included Glukhovsky in the register of mass media - "foreign agents". On August 7th 2023, the court sentenced him to eight years' imprisonment in absentia.
